Lockers at Tobu Nikko Station
At Tobu Nikko Station coin lockers are located on both the 1st floor and the 2nd floor. As you enter the station via the station entrance you can see the ticket gates directly in front of you. The 1st floor locker room is located to the immediate left of the ticket gates. These lockers come in three sizes priced at 600 yen for a medium size locker, 700 yen for a large size, and 900 yen for an extra-large size.
You can find smaller lockers priced at 400 yen on the 2nd floor.
These lockers only take 100 yen coins. If you do not have the right change, you can ask for it at the Bus Ticket Counter on the 1st floor of the station.
Lockers at JR Nikko Station
Lockers at JR Nikko Station are located on the 1st floor beside the ticket gates. As you enter through the station entrance you will see the ticket gates ahead of you. The lockers are located to the right of the ticket gates.
Lockers at JR Nikko Station come in four sizes priced at 400 yen, 500 yen, 600 yen, and 900 yen.
Lockers at Kinugawa Onsen Station
There are lockers at two locations at Kinugawa Onsen Station. If you enter the station and turn right into the passageway that runs past the Waiting Room and the Bento Café Kodama you will find three separate banks of lockers.
There are also lockers located outside the station on its north side, close to the bus terminal.

How to Use the Station Lockers
All the lockers in these stations are operated in the same way and are very easy to use. First place your luggage in a free locker and close the door.
Then put the required number of coins into the locker’s coin slot. All the lockers take 100 yen coins.
Finally turn the key counterclockwise while pressing the door shut. When the door is locked, don’t forget to keep the key!
Baggage Storage & Delivery at Tobu Nikko Station
Yamato Transport have a counter at Tobu Nikko Station where they offer baggage storage and baggage delivery services. As you enter the station via the entrance you will see a room called the Tourist Center on your right. The Yamato Transport counter is in this room.
At this counter you can arrange to have your baggage delivered straight to your hotel in Nikko, so that you can start sightseeing right away. English instructions are available and all you need to do is fill out a form stating your name, your contact telephone number, and the name of your hotel. The staff at the counter will give you a luggage ticket which you can present to the reception desk of your hotel in exchange for your luggage. Your luggage should be delivered to your hotel by 17.00. The fee for this service will differ according to the size of your baggage.
If you simply wish to store your luggage at the station, you can fill out a form with your name, contact number, and the approximate time you think you will return to pick up your luggage. Again the fee for this service will differ according to the size of your luggage. This desk closes at 17.00, so you will have to pick up your luggage before then or pick it up the following day.
