Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa has 117 guest rooms over 14 floors. All rooms have tatami mat floors, traditional furnishings, and most rooms have futons. There are several types of room to suit different budgets and rooms can sleep between 3 to 6 guests depending on the room type. Standard Rooms are the cheapest option and can sleep up to 3 guests in a room 17 m². The Luxury Quadruple Rooms (also called the Royal Rooms) are the most spacious option at 30 m², and are furnished with a western style sofa, armchairs, and beds.

All rooms are supplied with air conditioning, a television, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a safe, a telephone, yukata (light cotton kimonos) loungewear, and a hairdryer. Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa serves a buffet breakfast each morning which includes Western and Chinese dishes as well as local specialties. For dinner guests can choose between a buffet, or a set meal of local gourmet dishes that in private dining rooms or in the guest rooms. This hotel also serves a fine selection of local sake which can be enjoyed with your dinner.

Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa has a hot spring spa with a sauna, and large indoor and outdoor baths that are separated by gender. Both the indoor and outdoor baths look out onto the mountain scenery and the natural mineral waters are believed to have a beautifying effect on the skin, as well as being good for muscle pain, joint pain, bruises, fatigue, and for recovery after an illness. A private bath is also available which can be rented for a fee. The spa is open between 15.00-24.00, and 5.00-10:00 and the private bath is available between 5.00-23.00.

Guests can enjoy playing ping-pong on tables available by the spa.
This hotel has a café with an adjoining terrace and footbath. Here you can enjoy delicious coffee and cake while dipping your feet in the hot spring water and enjoying a spectacular view of the nearby gorge and suspension bridge. The café is open between 10.00 and 19.00 (with last orders at 18.30).

Pottery painting and quilted cloth painting activities are available at this hotel for a fee.
This hotel also has a karaoke bar and private karaoke rooms which are open between 20.00 and 24.00, and a ramen noodle shop which is open between 19.00 to 24.00 and from 12.00 until 15.00.
