Popular activities in the Kinugawa resort include boating and rafting on the river, taking a cable car ride on the Kinugawa Ropeway, and visiting nearby attractions such as the Tobu World Square architectural theme park and the historical theme park of Edo Wonderland. This hotel is perfectly placed for enjoying these activities and offers traditional Japanese hospitality and cuisine at very reasonable prices.

Hotel Shirakawa Yunokura has 50 Japanese-style rooms with tatami mat floors, futons, and traditional furnishings. In-room facilities include a TV, refrigerator, a combined humidifier/air purifier, a hair dryer, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. Light cotton kimonos called yukata are supplied as lounge wear. Private bathrooms feature a bathtub and toilet and are supplied with free amenities such as hand soap, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shaving razors, and combs.

Hotel Shirakawa Yunokura has its own restaurant where guests can enjoy traditional Japanese meals in private dining rooms. Breakfast at Hotel Shirakawa Yunokura is a Japanese-style set meal that is served between 7.30 and 8.30. A typical breakfast will include grilled fish, rice, miso soup, natto (fermented soybeans), and pickled vegetables, but also some Western-style items such as bacon and egg, and a dessert such as yoghurt. Dinner is served between 17.30 and 19.00 and typical items on the dinner menu include sashimi, Tochigi beef steak, tempura, and shabu-shabu.

Front desk staff at Hotel Shirakawa Yunokura have a good reputation for their friendly and helpful service. Check-in time is from 15.00 and check-out is by 10.00.

Hotel Shirakawa Yunokura has a hot spring spa with large communal indoor and outdoor baths overlooking the Kinugawa valley. Private bathing areas can also be reserved for a fee. The natural mineral waters are said to be good for muscle pain, fatigue, back pain, nerve pain, and aching joints. The spa also has its own sauna and massage chairs.

This hotel has a games room with board games, traditional Japanese games, and a table tennis table.

This hotel has vending machines for alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and milk; ice machines; and free coffee and tea are available in the 3rd floor lobby.

Location
