Hotel Famitec Nikko Station is a clean, friendly, and inexpensive business hotel in Nikko which is very convenient for both Tobu Nikko Station and JR Nikko Station. This hotel has very good facilities for short-term travelers which include drinks vending machines, self-service laundry facilities, and shared hot spring baths. Hotel Famitec is ideal for both business travelers and sightseers who are traveling on a tight budget.

Guest Rooms

Hotel Famitec has a range of sleeping options to suit different budgets. These include capsule rooms, and both Japanese and Western style private rooms with twin or single beds. Capsules come with their own TV, a storage locker with a key, a USB outlet, desk, mirror, and privacy curtain. Some private rooms have their own private bathroom with a bathtub and toilet. Other rooms have just a toilet and a washbasin and access to shared bathrooms.

All rooms come with a TV, a kettle, a hair dryer, cups, glasses, individual air conditioning, USB outlets, and slippers. Cotton robes called yukata are provided freely as nightwear. Bathrooms are supplied with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and soap.

Breakfast & Dining

A buffet breakfast which includes both Western and Japanese-style dishes is served each morning between 7.00 and 8.45 on the first floor. For other meals there are plenty of restaurants in the area around the hotel. There is also a 24-hour FamilyMart convenience store just 2 minutes from the hotel where you can get cheap food and drinks.

Other Services & Facilities

Check-in time is from 15.00 and check-out is by 10.00. Reception staff are friendly, helpful and happy to answer guests’ inquiries.

1st floor facilities

Hotel Famitec has a large number of facilities on the 1st floor of the hotel. Here you can find a common lounge area, free storage lockers, an sightseeing information corner with brochures in multiple languages, a small stall selling drinks and snacks, and drinks vending machines selling both alcoholic beverages and soft drinks.

This hotel also has large onsen-style public baths on the 1st floor which are separated by gender. These are open between 16.00 and 23.00 and between 7.00 and 9.00.

On the 3rd floor there is a coin-operated washing machine and dryer, and microwave oven for the guests to use.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Smoking is not permitted in the sleeping areas and is restricted to a designated smoking area.

In-room massages can be arranged for a fee.

Location

Hotel Famitec Nikko Station is a 4 minute walk from Tobu Nikko Station and 7 minutes from JR Nikko Station. This is a very convenient area for catching buses to Nikko’s major tourist sites. Here is a map of the location.
